Thorn has ideas and dreams that have yet to be born. After living and working on various organic permaculture farms, sustainability education projects, urban gardens, and project-based education all over the world (Colorado Springs, Colorado; Canaan, Connecticut; Oaxaca, Mexico; San Kamphaeng, Thailand), Thorn dreams of an advanced society: earth-centered, spiritual, technological, creative. A place where nothing is wasted and our daily lives are intricately interconnected with the ecology. Building infrastructure filled with eco- and human-friendly systems. Beauty and good health abound without effort or fuss! Sweetness of leaves decomposing, birds chirping, and bees buzzing all around. Every fiber of our being experiencing healthy and happy habits every day, our direct ties to the ground nourishing and wizening us.
The Stuff Place is a place (ideally centrally located) where people go to create & learn about the cycles of stuff! ...as told by education programs free to the public, including permaculture design, upcycled art, indigenous wisdom carriers, and artists, musicians, and bards.
The Changers Collective is the umbrella organization that organizes and directs projects like "The Stuff Place" with a scalable strategy to promote opportunities for people to live in infrastructures designed for wellness, including health, that is, physical as well as psychological, emotional, spiritual, and ecological. Principals for design are derived from Blue Zone studies, global and regional indigenous guidance, modern sustainable technologies, permaculture principals and methods relevant for intended climate, Fukuoka and Steiner philosophies, Torah, and other sources of eco-centric lifestyle strategies, philosophies, and methods.
